Frequently Asked Questions
Is Lindenwood still providing resources for current international students?
Yes – Lindenwood has not changed the resources for our current international students. We have modified the structure, but our resources remain the same.
What happened to OASIS?
在过去, you've known the Office of 招生 and Services for International Students (OASIS) as your go-to resource. To better serve you, we've decided to make changes to our support structure. The Center for Diversity and Inclusion (CDI) will now be your primary hub for assistance with immigration questions, and the admissions department will continue to guide and support new international students.
Why is this happening?
Lindenwood is reorganizing the structure internally and will separate the admissions processes, and ongoing services for international students, to better accommodate student needs.
What happens to the staff from OASIS?
Two individuals who worked with OASIS have recently left Lindenwood. The remaining employees who were previously staffed in OASIS remain at Lindenwood and have been reallocated to roles which allow them to continue supporting students within the new structure.
Can international students still apply for undergraduate and graduate programs?
是的,当然. Lindenwood will continue to admit and enroll new international students for Spring and Fall terms.
Where do I go for immigration assistance with my I20, OPT, or CPT?
Roudina Thomsen will be the immigration specialist in the Center for Diversity and Inclusion. In this role, she will continue to maintain your I-20 and assist with immigration questions. Roudina’s workstation will be located in the Center for Diversity and Inclusion starting in January. The former OASIS employees are still within the admissions area and will continue to support international students as necessary.
How does this impact my scholarships at Lindenwood?
It doesn’t impact international student scholarships. Your academic merit will remain the same as long as you maintain your full-time student status. Undergraduate students must have a 2.0 or higher GPA, and graduate students need a 3.0或更高.
I have additional questions. Who should I contact?
Additional questions can be directed to the international support team.
